eUCP
Course Description
eUCP is a supplement to UCP 600 issued by the International Chamber of Commerce that governs the electronic presentation of documents under letters of credit. It provides rules for the creation, transmission, examination, and acceptance of electronic records in place of paper documents. eUCP supports digital trade by improving efficiency, reducing processing time, and lowering operational risk. It enables banks and trade participants to adopt paperless trade practices while maintaining legal certainty and compliance. eUCP is increasingly important as trade finance moves toward automation and digitalization.
